Binding Wire
Binding wire is made of mild steel wire and is it is used extensively in the construction sector for tying the rebars at the junctions/joints to keep the structure intact. The binding wire requirement in structural steel is approx. 12 Kg per Tone. The wires’ low tensile strength helps in binding the knots without any breakage.
Binding wire has a diameter of 0.70 mm-2.00 mm and the most common sizes are 1.20mm (18swg) and 0.90mm (20swg). Annealing allows the wires to stay soft for ease of application. Binding wire is flexible enough to fit multiple usage needs.
